When I was a teenager, I had over 30 contacts on my phone and did not know who to spend time with. When College hit, everyone drastically changed – girls – fast cars and a burning urge to get married and start a family (which somehow meant to cut everyone off). I now have one fading contact and that contact is in Florida and I’m over here in Millersville – I’m new to the state.
I made 15 contacts after a year of being here at Millersville and when summer break comes, no one wants to hang around. I guess it’s like “work buddies”, once the shift ends everyone scatters like ants in the parking lot. But then I met someone who introduced me to a club, a small and modest but real one. I now have a few major pieces than just pawns in my life. Long story short – having a desire to living a richer life outside of academia and work is very normal and there is no “adult” stage that exists to really stop that. And it all works out as that’s how the world is set up, good times and bad times are not here to stay, ever. Everything passes.
So, I have created this simple site as a public service for you to meet people at this University of Millersville. No Facebook search or “friend finder” app has the capability this simple forum has. A simpler time was when we had those sloppy, slapped together forums back in 2003 discussing all types of shit and connecting from across the US. I will host this site for a couple of years and see where it goes, perhaps this can change some of your lives.
Regarding Rules:
I strongly believe in absolute free speech as a word is our power that is never to be taken. I am a very raunchy guy and could care less about any bitching. So, no one will be silenced or banned on this forum for ANY personal belief, joke or words. Though as a favor from you to me – I trust you to keep this place civilized. We do not want this to become a scorched-earth-warzone. As fun as it may be, keep in mind that this is a time unlike any other. A time when down-to-earthness, honesty, reliability and true raw attitude are hard to come by, so here you are. No plastic here.
However there is only one rule here: 1 rule
