Hello my name is John and I am an education major. I want to teach middle school and help shape a better education system. Though i know it will be impossible because of the beurocracy but ill try! I usually go to the bush to have myself a read when i want to get away from the awkward bullshit existence on campus in between classes.
I really like what you said Groznov, I am grateful that you have made this site to actualy solve the issue rather than to just complain about it. What I’m looking for here is to find people who have the ability to hold a long term conversation and interaction rather than some quick social fling of a conversation that equates into oblivion.
I understand why this site has very few members and not much activity. It’s new! And from the posts I’ve been reading on here it looks like you guys are up to something revolutionary and I want in.

A reform in this corporate slave-readiness “education” system is needed, I agree. But teachers are like pawns in this system so I don’t think too much can be done about that. But you can always be a good mentor, no one can stop you there.
And yes. We have a very crazy plan for the upcoming semesters in uniting people such as yourself… and I. I don’t want students to complain about this anymore, on-campus or even off-campus isolation should not be the #1 complaint.

No, not dead at all. I have an SMS group chat with most people on here and I tell them when there is new activity or something so they can welcome newcomers and keep this place alive. Look at it as an artificial breathing machine - we take the site off of it once there is a higher volume of people. Once there is a high volume then activity will be more frequent on here and everyone will check it more often. Expect others to comment and speak to you later.
