I had a few people message me questions on what is expected of them when being on this forum and what to do other than to introduce yourself. Good questions.
1. This forum can be anything you want it to be. You can throw your hook and see who messages you - like fishing. Purely like a meeting people.But not recommended for full experience as it is proven to be ineffective.
2. I highly recommend posting stuff like questions, polls, anecdotes and more even after introducing yourself/reading and responding to other intros. This way this community will be more active and become more relevant and more will want to join. You know how you first joined Facebook when you were a complete noob to it? That first "What's on your mind" post was quite exiting to type out. But once you post no one sees it. Here everyone does - which brings us into #3
3. Decentralization is not a good thing, you've been taught wrong. In fact, true decentralization does not exist because there are many state/academia/government/corporate entities that centralize but decentralize all of our youth. Villebook is meant to be a highly centralized form of social media for this niche audience (Millersville University Students). Hell, if you are in the similar age group of a student and don't attend MU but live in Millersville borough or Lancaster, go ahead and join anyway.
Summary: Post what's on your mind. This is your new form of social media that is simple, clean and not sponsored. Not just a one-post intro stop.
All in life is a Cigarette, drag until it burns out, don't try to reignite, move onto the next.
